Transparency and Accountability

We believe that transparency is a prerequisite of accountability because there should be information accessibility for an action to be appropriately evaluated. Accountability cannot be proven if there is a denial of information access. We believe transparency and accountability are necessary conditions for good management, and transparency would result in better governance, more accountability, and less corruption. We believe high levels of corruption and poor quality of public services in South Sudan require accountability.
